Havelock House
Havelock House is located centrally on Northbourne Avenue in Turner. The property takes up an entire city block and is split into 22 units ranging from 3 to 8 bedrooms that house 113 single persons. Our tenant profile includes students, single men and single women. There are a number of community organisations based on site as well as access to activities such as exercise groups, information sessions and community BBQ’s. Havelock House is a two minute walk to the city and has free wi-fi.
Singles Accommodation
Gungahlin Singles Accomodation is small apartment complex of 20 units which are a 2 minute walk from the Gungahlin local shops, community centres and amenities. Each apartment is 1 bedroom self-contained unit with its own balcony/small courtyard, laundry, and spilt system air-conditioning. Residents all have access to a common area for activities, car parking space and storage area. There is NBN Fibre to the premises installed.
Canberra Student Housing Co-op
There is a vibrant community of students at Havelock House in shared accommodation. The Co-op is located within Havelock House, on the corner of Northbourne Avenue and McKay Streets – just blocks from the ANU campus. Housing Assets Assistance Program
Havelock Housing has a number of properties located in the suburbs of Canberra. These properties range from 1 to 4-bedroom apartments and houses that are suited to single people, couples and families that are in need of affordable housing but do not need intensive support/s to maintain that tenancy.
Disability Housing
Havelock Housing manages a number of properties across the ACT that provide a specialised response to people with a disability. These range from 1-2 bedroom apartments/townhouses for single people, to larger properties for group living. We work closely with NDIS support providers and help with specialised tenancy assistance, managing utility accounts, gardening and disability modifications. Havelock Housing are an approved NDIS provider of both tenancy/housing support and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA).
